Letter from Heather O’Hara
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Reader... I welcome all of you who have recently joined us and also extend a warm and heartfelt “thank you” to those of you who continue to receive “A Touch of Grace” and keep it moving throughout the world by forwarding it on to others. Together, our efforts have reached more people in more countries than I ever dreamed possible! Please forgive the recent lapse in newsletters ― I have been immersed in “the process” of establishing a non-profit organization, which Quantum-Grace.com will be a part of; along with its sister site, which (I trust) will be up, running, and on its way around the world in the next month or two. As a non-profit organization, your continued donations, contributions, tithes and a portion of the proceeds from my own books, as well as the proceeds from affiliate sales will not only enable Quantum-Grace.com to grow and evolve, but will also help tremendously in providing much needed support to other organizations whose purpose is to create a better world for us all. Our main focus will be on establishing a fund for the support, maintenance and building of orphanages in countries where they are most needed. Additionally, becoming a non-profit will allow me the opportunity to reach those “far away and forgotten” places; bringing new insight, hope, inspiration, resources and information to those in need. When we all work together as one, mountains are moved and bridges are built; children are fed; the sick and the elderly are cared for; and humanity finds its Truth. All I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you. The world is a better place because of you. I will keep you updated on our progress and will work diligently to get all of this new information uploaded to the Quantum-Grace.com website as soon as I can. For now, because it is spring, the season of Inspiration and Awakening, this month’s newsletter is filled with that which inspires and that which wakes us up! How can I serve? ...What can I give? ...How can I make someone’s day? There are a million things that you can do to make the world a better place for us all... but only you know what those things are. Whether you choose to extend your good thoughts, your wealth, your time, your talent, or something as simple as a kind word or a smile ― know that the “what” is unimportant, because the only thing that really matters is that you give the world the very best of you. We can only serve others by doing things that demonstrate our unbending belief in our own true nature of abundance. We all have an abundance of kind words, and abundance of smiles, an abundance of good thoughts, intrinsic wealth and an eternity of time, yet we sometimes convince ourselves that “today” we just don’t have anything to give. It isn’t because we’re stingy or self-centered or that, somehow, we have grabbed hold of the lowest link on the consciousness chain ― it’s simply because we’re sleeping! If we were awake, we would have a profound awareness of the abundance of which we are made. “Abundance” means to have more than enough and, because we are made of abundance, we will always have more than enough of everything ― no matter how much of that abundance we choose to give away. With this in mind, what could you share with someone else that you know will automatically replenish itself as you give it away? As you begin to make this a daily habit... “How can I serve?” and “What can I give?” will no longer be the questions; instead, they will be the answers to living a joyful, prosperous, incredibly fulfilling life.

Until I Awoke... One of the most profound truths I have ever discovered in any book is this quote from Dan Millman’s Sacred Journey of the Peaceful Warrior... “Until I awoke, I hadn’t realized that I’d been asleep.” This, I believe, is one of the greatest mysteries of enlightenment ― we really don’t know that we’ve been asleep until we wake up! And, should we awaken only to fall asleep again (which happens!), we never know that we’ve been sleeping again until, once more, we’ve awoken! What wakes us up? INSPIRATION wakes us up! And the best way never to fall back asleep is to stay inspired! Few of us are born in an already enlightened state of consciousness. What has inspired us throughout our lives is what has brought us, little by little, to the level of consciousness we’re at right now. And, the better we understand the process of inspiration, the more we move toward allowing inspiration into our lives and making sure that we stay inspired. Even if our life’s work is dedicated to inspiring others, if we do not constantly stay open to the inspiration around us and within us, sooner or later, we’ll fall back to sleep. John Randolph Price, who I have welcomed into my life as one of my greatest teachers and my treasured pen pal, urges us not to ever become “spiritually stagnant.” This means to stay open! Stay open to new ideas, new ways of thinking and new avenues of inspiration. You may be inspired by books, songs, quotes, speeches, people, places, poetry, newsletters, art, music, nature or your own inner voice, but the truth is that it doesn’t matter from whence inspiration comes, as long as when it comes you allow it in. None of us knows everything; not even the enlightened ones ― as a matter of fact, it is those who are truly enlightened who will be the first to tell you that they know absolutely nothing. What they inspire us to become aware of, however, is that our willingness to continue to learn, evolve, explore and discover is the very thing that will keep us awake. The span and depth of the inspiration we need to stay awake is not found in “just one book,” or “just one teacher,” or on “just one path.” There are many books, many teachers and many paths that, together, enhance our experience of awareness ― helping us to see that what is truly inspiring is that we are all part of an ever expanding, ever evolving Universe of Inspiration! Don’t get “stuck” in what you think you know... that’s a definite sleeping pill just waiting to be swallowed. Instead, keep the doors and windows of your Infinite Mind open; welcome new voices, open up a book you never dreamed you’d ever read, listen for enlightenment, look for what has never before been seen; and then share your joy as the world within you awakens!

While you were sleeping... I gathered wood and built a fire to keep you warm. I played soft music, composed a love poem and then gently, ...so gently, I whispered the words to you. And as you slept, I opened my heart and surrounded you with light ― knowing that it would help you awaken... soon. While you were sleeping... I swept the front walk, trimmed the bushes around your house and painted your name above the door so that unexpected gifts, opportunities, inspiration and extraordinary people would easily find you... in the right place... at exactly the right time. While you were sleeping... I worked in your garden. I turned the soil, planted new seed and watered the crops. Then, I harvested and preserved them for you, because I knew that you would be hungry after having slept... for so long. While you were sleeping... I mended the fences you share with your neighbors, washed the windows so the sun could shine through; and then I repaired your ladder, organized your tools, and cleared the clutter from your home so that when you awakened you would see only harmony and feel the joy... of perfect order. While you were sleeping... I wrote a book about you. And then I wrote another and another. I signed each book with a different name and left them on your nightstand, so that when you awoke you would know that many, many people cared enough to write something... especially for you While you were sleeping... I penned a letter to every person who has ever hurt you, forgiving them, because I know that what they did, they did because they were sleeping, too. I left the letters on your desk, so that after you’ve been awake for awhile, you can sign them with love... and send them all to me. While you were sleeping... I placed a path inside your heart so that you will always know that you have your own road to travel. Along the path, I planted flowers, left you messages and scattered diamonds everywhere, so that when darkness comes, they will reflect the light of the stars... and the moon. While you were sleeping... I built a bridge from your soul to your heart, because when the two are connected, they become One Mind that always understands... always knows. While you were sleeping... I kept you safe, I held your hand, and I sat beside you and told you stories about the life you were born to live. I sent you good thoughts, blessed your dreams; and I looked toward the sky and envisioned you dancing with me... someday soon. While you were sleeping... I served your spirit, touched your heart and honored your soul; so that when you awakened, you would always know just how much, and how deeply, I love you... whether your eyes are open... or closed. ―Heather K. ...This is a message of divine kindness and unconditional love. Do the best you can to help those who are awake and to serve those who are asleep, because if they are loved while they are sleeping, when they awaken ― together, you will become the brightest light the world has ever known.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In John Randolph Price’s bestseller, The Success Book, he postulates that our special gifts and talents are, in truth, our spiritual attributes ― and that these attributes are our life’s program (purpose in action) and meant to be shared. John offers many suggestions for identifying our gifts, developing a greater understanding of why we have special talents; and how to allow those gifts and talents to come through us, shape our lives, and enhance the lives of others. This particular book, more than any other I have read on the subject, gave me new insight and a deep understanding of my own purpose as a spiritual/human being. It helped me to see that purpose is not necessarily something we trip over in the night that brings on a sudden “ah-ha” moment; but instead, it is something within us that, once identified, needs to be honored, appreciated and developed. What I found through this realization is that when I took my attention off my struggle to find my purpose in the physical world and instead, focused on, worked on, developed and allowed my spiritual attributes to come forth naturally... my spiritual reality became my physical reality and, right before my eyes, my spiritual attributes blossomed into the gifts I share with you. In other words, my purpose found me and literally catapulted me into the life I was born to live! As John Randolph Price suggests, “The main thing you want to do now is to set the direction of your life according to your greatest desires and your highest vision. Remember, as we see ourselves, so we tend to become.” The following, by John Randolph Price, is an example of how to write a Life’s Program that is focused on spiritual attributes; thus becoming the road to bringing our own special gifts and talents into visibility:
