The Wisdom of
AXIS: Something to Think About
-------------------------------------------------
LETTER FROM HEATHER O’HARA
-------------------------------------------------
Dear Reader...
What a wonderful and inspiring month it has been! Thank you
for your tremendous support, your heartfelt
emails, and your many beautiful blessings.
Together, we are doing it!
My apologies for the lateness of this month’s newsletter—I
don't believe in excuses, however, if I did,
mine would be that I was
writing a book! (More on that in a minute.)
This month, I welcome new readers from
Iceland and Israel as well as many new friends
from the countries I listed in last month’s
newsletter.
So that you can clearly see just how
far and how fast “grace” travels, I am adding a new dimension to Quantum-Grace.com
called The Journey of Grace. There, you
will find a map of the world and the flags of
the many great nations represented by your
participation in a higher level of individual
and universal awareness. This new addition will
be available for you to cruise and peruse on
August 10.
I have also added a "Newsletter Archives" to the
Quantum-Grace website, which will give you quick
and easy access to any of the previous
e-publications that you'd like to go back to and
read again.
I extend a huge "thank you" to my friend and
webmaster extraordinaire, Richard Daniel, for
his brilliance, ingenuity, endless enthusiasm
and continued dedication to the growth of
Quantum-Grace.com. His technical expertise
is invaluable as he continues to volunteer his
time and energy, guiding me through "what I
don't know how to do." ...And I must tell
you, he has the patience of a saint!
Also this month, in loving response to the prodding of the
master, John Harricharan, I have completed a
self-help book, which I trust will touch many
lives in an empowering and inspiring way.
Its purpose is to offer you a greater understanding of Divine
and karmic laws; and through the knowledge of
these laws, lead you level by level, into a life
with a view―a beautiful view, a magnificent
view; a broad and endless view of infinite and
exquisite
possibilities.
Entitled, Living on Level 7 (Choosing a Life with a View),
this book was a great honor and a tremendous joy
to write. It is currently being edited for its
August/September release and I promise to let
you know the minute it is available.
Because you have inspired me to continue creating in many new
and wonderful ways, I thought that a sneak
preview might be fun. So, for your eyes only, I
have included a few paragraphs from Level 7
in this month’s “Tips for Living Authentically –
A Little Magic and a Touch of Grace.”
Before I close, I would like to say that one of the most
powerful laws in the universe is the Law of
Possibility. I have experienced its power so
often in my own life that I dedicated an entire
section to it in my forthcoming book.
It is one of those magical laws that can change your life in
an instant and it is a law that is enriched by
the good energy of many. Know that I appreciate
you, I am inspired by you and I am grateful that
you have chosen to walk this way with me. Your
requests and ideas continue to enlighten me, so
please keep them coming.
Every person is a golden thread in the tapestry
of grace.
You are truly the best company anyone could ever ask for.
Thank you, once again, for being here.
Love and Light, ...Heather O’Hara

GUEST ARTICLE: “THE CRACKED POT”
-------------------------------------------------
This month’s guest article is not really an article, but a
story. A very good story. I received it in an
email from my sister, and I have no idea where
it originated or who wrote it, but it is one of
the most uplifting tales I have ever read.
Reading it made my day, and with that in mind, I
happily pass it along to you:
The Cracked Pot
A water bearer in
China had two large pots; each hung on the ends
of a pole which he carried across his neck.
One of the pots had a crack in it, while the other pot was
perfect and always delivered a full portion of
water. At the end of the long walk from the
stream to the house, the cracked pot always
arrived only half full.
For a full two years this went on daily, with the bearer
delivering only one and a half pots full of
water to his house. Of course, the perfect pot
was proud of its accomplishments, for it was
perfect and always arrived full and brimming
with fresh water. But the poor cracked pot was
ashamed of its own imperfection and miserable
that it was able to accomplish only half of what
it had been made to do.
After two years of what it perceived to be a bitter failure,
the cracked pot spoke to the water bearer one
day by the stream. “I am ashamed of myself,”
said the cracked pot. “I want to apologize to
you. I have been able to deliver only half my
load because this crack in my side causes water
to leak out all the way back to your house.
Because of my flaws, you have to do all of this
work, and you don’t get full value from your
efforts.”
The bearer said to the pot, “Did you notice that there were
flowers only on your side of the path, but not
on the other pot’s side? That’s because I have
always known about your perfect flaw, so I
planted flower seeds on your side of the path.
And every day, while we walk back, you’ve
watered them! For two years I have been able to
pick these beautiful flowers to decorate my
table. Without you being just the way you are,
there would not be this beauty to grace my
house.”
Moral: Each of us has our own unique flaws. We are all
cracked pots, but it’s the cracks and flaws we
each have that make our lives together so very
interesting and rewarding. You’ve just got to
take each person for what they are, and look for
the good in them.
Remember to appreciate all the different people in your life.
***
And I’d like to add, ...”Remember to appreciate
yourself as well. You are a perfect you―and you
are beautiful just the way you
are.”

POEM: “THE HIGHEST LOVE”
-------------------------------------------------by Heather K. O’Hara
The Highest Love
When we look deep into
the darkness of others,
we will find a place
where there once was light.
Further beyond
the appearance of shadows
is something far greater
than a soul could endure, ...
and in this place, where obscurity dances,
lives a warrior protecting
a wound, which still hurts.
When we hear through
the harshness of sorrow,
honor the heart afraid to be touched, ...
when we see past what appears to be broken,
and search still
for what remains whole, ...
we have found the one
inside ourselves
who chooses the highest love.

A LITTLE MAGIC
AND A TOUCH OF GRACE – TIPS FOR LIVING AUTHENTICALLY
-------------------------------------------------
I trust that positive and empowering affirmations are already
part of your everyday life. If they are not, you
may want to create one or two and begin enjoying
the incredible results!
***
To affirm something is to make a powerful statement about
that which you already know is true. It is not
pleading, begging or even asking. Rather, it is
designing, shaping and expecting a
desired result by consciously agreeing that you
are ready, willing, prepared and in line
with a yet to be manifested desire.
If you believe you are flawed and invaluable, no matter what
comes to you, no matter how miraculous and
perfect it may be, you will perceive it as
flawed and invaluable. You must be in line with
your affirmations. Energy returns on the
same wavelength from which it was received. If
you affirm you are something you are not, your
desires won’t be able to find you.
Connecting with your own value, honoring your own
uniqueness―your own excellence; and learning to
love yourself as you are will change your
perception of whatever gifts life places in your
hands.
It is imperative that you line yourself up with your
affirmations. You must match the energy of
what you are affirming. You have to
live and give what you want to receive.
Know, also, that the Universe is very literal. It thrives on
exactness. So be exact. Be precise.
Anticipate surprises, and surprises are exactly
what you’ll get! Personally, I have had my
share of surprises in this lifetime, and I am
very careful to now affirm happy
surprises, joyful completion, blissful
moments, euphoric wonder and enchanted
and everlasting love.
The Universe gives you what is already yours. To attract any
of the desires described above, you must put the
energy of happy, joyful, blissful, euphoric and
enchanting out into the world so that what
already is can be drawn to itself.
Like attracts like. Whatever it is you are
being, you will be seeing.
The purpose of an affirmation is to consciously
make a connection with what you are already in
line with.
The Universe gives you what is already yours. If you want to
feel, see, hear, taste, touch, experience or
have something different, it all begins with the
actions you take and the choices and
decisions you make.
What is inside of you establishes what is outside of you. A
powerful affirmation is one that is in perfect
harmony with who you truly believe you are.
Affirmations that work quickly are affirmations
that match or, are in line with, the actions and
the energy of the affirmer.

EMPOWERING
AFFIRMATIONS
-------------------------------------------------
*Divine will is done today. It is a day of joyful
completion; I give thanks for this perfect day,
miracle follows miracle and true happiness flows
to me and through me with effortless grace and
ease.
**
**I look with joyful wonder at that which is before me.
**
*The first of these affirmations, I repeat silently every
morning before I even get out of bed, because I
like to have all my bases covered prior to
starting my day. It contains sixteen of the
most powerful words on the planet and it is
equivalent to drinking rocket fuel for
breakfast!
It also affirms my willingness and agreement to honor a
“complete cycle.” Like an ocean wave, it pushes
its energy forth and pulls its energy back in
total harmony with the rhythm of the Universe.
**The second, is an affirmation I absolutely love and repeat
to myself throughout the day, because it makes
every experience I have a joyful wonder.
If you have never used affirmations, test these two for a
while and see what happens. Combined with your
enthusiastic and deliberate actions, stated with
positive expectation from deep within your heart
and silently repeated, they are magic!

GUEST POEM: "MY SEAGULL’S HEART"
-------------------------------------------------by Angela Keller
My Seagull’s Heart
My seagull rides the wind―
royal... soaring... with harmony of the mind
and anticipation of tomorrow.
Pure delight of the sun’s rays upon its wings
and the elegance of a serene ocean.
Come, fly with me!
Come here and fly,
fly with me into sweet bliss!
The seagull will show you―
you’ll have no more empty days.
The seagull will teach you
to trust your dreams―
they are sweet and beautiful.
Trust your visions.
They are soulful and influential.
Trust your ambition.
It will take you where you want to go.

A VERY SPECIAL EMAIL
-------------------------------------------------
Last month Imelda wrote to me because of the struggle she was
feeling with her past. This month Imelda has an
inspiring message to share with us. “Grace,”
as you will see in her email,
has a way of soothing the shadows when we make a
conscious decision to focus on the light.
Dear Heather,
Just writing something to share with you, because I was
inspired today. I’ve had other thoughts, but
this is the first time I’ve shared them.
Summer Nights
The best feelings of summer and one of God’s greatest gifts
has got to be getting out into the night air.
Sitting outdoors and staring out at the moon and
the stars puts your mind at ease and wonder.
Feeling the night’s cool breeze and listening to
the wind rustling through the trees takes your
breath away and your mind to thoughts of a cool
dip in the pool―a night walk on the beach or
spending the night under the stars in the desert
waiting to see a falling star. It is on nights
like this that I realize I have been blessed,
that God is awesome and I can only imagine what
he must have in store for us in heaven.
Hope you like it and can’t wait to hear what you think.
Thank you for sharing my thoughts in your
newsletter; I’d rather share thoughts of hope
and God’s blessings than my hurts and
struggles. I’m working on this daily to make
things better. I am looking at what I am
grateful for, rather than what I want or lack,
and the simple things, like summer, inspired me
tonight.
Good night and regards,
Imelda P. (USA)
..........................
Dear Imelda,
This is for you...
Imelda’s Star
Imelda walks softly
through a summers night―
returning gracefully
to the place she was born;
a quiet place,
a peaceful place,
a place where Earth and sky are one.
She embraces the silence with her heart,
remembering the moment
she emerged from a shadowed cove
into the light of the world.
Her thoughts whisper and then slip away―
gently, so gently, into the night,
as her soul reaches up and into the sky,
touching the star
that has always belonged to her.
― Heather K. O’Hara, written for Imelda P. 7/27/05
I’m so proud of you Imelda, you found the most valuable gift
of all... You found your own star.
May it bring you peace, ...Heather O’Hara

ARTICLE: “JUST THE WAY YOU
ARE”

JUST THE WAY YOU
ARE
An article by Heather K. O’Hara
As I sit here today at my computer, totally immersed in my
writing, I look up every so often to gaze out
the window in my office. It is mid July―and I
am captured by the beauty before me.
Summer flowers are in full bloom, so anxious to please me
that they are literally tumbling out of their
ceramic pots, cascading directly into my line of
vision as if to say, “We’re here for you,
Heather, we’re here!”
Four children run past my front porch―I hear them laughing,
then making ENORMOUS animal sounds, and then
bursting into gales of laughter again! My own
children are gone for the summer, and I’m
feeling a need for a splash of intoxicating
playfulness, so I get up and walk outside to be
closer to their contagious joy.
Before I have a chance to say anything though, a beautiful
little girl, radiant with delight, looks up at
me and says with astounding pride, “I am a
mountain lion and my friends are tigers!”
How wonderful,
I think, to transform into a lion or a tiger
in the blink of an eye! And then a
little boy, no more than three years old, peeks
out from behind the others, raises his arms to
the sky, and with a huge smile on his face, he
gives the world his very loudest and very best
roar! I can tell that he has absolutely no idea
what animal he is, nor does he care, but
whatever it is, he sure is having fun being it!
As the happy, laughing, vociferous bunch of untamed youth run
off to their next transformational experience, I
return to my office filled with a wonderful and
fresh supply of inspiration. But before I begin
working again, my eyes are drawn back to the
window, and through the thick foliage of trees
in my front yard I notice a sliver of pale blue
sky leaning into the ancient arms of a giant
spruce―and for the first time, I see that it is
a little overcast today. The usual July sun is
hiding somewhere, but what really astounds me is
how beautiful it is―even without the sun.
I look with joyful wonder at that which is before me.
I am doing what I love to do. I am surrounded by beautiful
flowers and trees. There are children laughing
and wild animals running wild and free! Life
just gets better and better!
It is a perfect day. True happiness flows to me and through
me with effortless grace and ease.
This day, and all of its remarkable moments, brings to mind a
fable I love about a man who was walking through
heaven and came upon an enormous building. He
entered the building and inside he found row
after row of neatly stacked boxes, each tied
with a beautiful satin bow. As the man walked
down each row he was amazed at the number of
unopened boxes that were in the building and,
suddenly seeing one with his name on it, he
quickly tore it open. Inside his box, he
found all the blessings that God had wanted him
to have while he was on Earth, but because he
had never recognized them he had never received
them.
This is the story of mans inhumanity to himself―so many
gifts; so much to be thankful for, so much of
our own stunning beauty being reflected back to
us each day and, somehow, there are too many
that miss it entirely.
When we are given another perfect day, another beautiful and
inspiring moment, or when we hear the wondrous
laughter of children, the highest power in the
Universe is saying, “I love you just the way you
are, please accept this gift.” But instead of
receiving, we argue for our unworthiness,
finding every reason not to be loved and valued
just as we are.
We say, “I made a really bad choice yesterday. I’m worthless
and unlovable. I do not deserve gifts. I do not
deserve joy.” And if that doesn’t stop divine
generosity, we say, “If you really loved me, you
would do it my way―you’d help me make better
choices, you’d give me everything I want.”
The answer from the realm of unconditional love and
understanding is always the same, “You are
worthy and you are lovable and you are
trusted to make choices that reflect your
freedom as an individual. You need only look,
and what is already yours is given to you if you
are ready and willing to have it.”
God is both the Giver and the Gift. There is no separation.
To refuse the Gift is to refuse the God and, to
refuse the God is to refuse the Gift. Yet, that
incredible power that many call “God” keeps
trying, day after day, to give us what we have
convinced ourselves we are not receiving or feel
we are not worthy of having.
No matter what we call it, there is nothing we can do or see
or feel that is not divine. Every day, every
moment―sunny, cloudy or otherwise―is a gift.
And when we know this, everything around us and
within us becomes perfect and beautiful just the
way it is.
By acknowledging our own worthiness and divinity, we also
acknowledge God’s worthiness and divinity. When
we think, oh, what a beautiful day it is,
we are actually saying, oh, what a
beautiful God I find in everything. And when
we find the beautiful God in everything, we find
the beautiful God within ourselves.
We too, are both the Giver and the Gift. And as we share
this lifetime with the greatest power of the
Universe, again, there is no separation. The
Creator and the Creation are one.
Our own eternal beauty and worthiness is free. We don’t have
to do anything special or be anything special to
have it. All that is required is that we
acknowledge it, accept it and share it the best
way we know how. You are worthy. You are
beautiful. And you are loved.
Every morning of your life, the lover of your
soul gently touches your face and whispers, “I
love you just the way you are.” Except this perfect gift―go to a mirror, look back at the face that
looks back at you―touch it, honor it; reach as
far as you can into your own reflection and say,
“I love you, too―just the way you are.”
